The Gold Rush Quartet went to Florida to record a new project. It is called "Feelin' Fine" and will hopefully be available in 7-9 weeks. Above photo is Gold Rush Quartet with producer, Randy Shelnut. The group had sung with the Dixie Echoes in Coldspring earlier this year and had a grand time. Gold Rush discovered that the Dixie Echoes have a studio in Florida where they have recorded many projects. |

Thanksgiving week, Gold Rush went to Echo Sound Studio in Florida and recorded their new project. It was a hard trip and lots of hard work. Randy Shelnut is a really great guy to work with in the studio. He is a man of many talents and was the producer/engineer/musician on the project. |

Gold Rush spent the first day laying down the tracks to 10 songs with the studio musicians. That night the rest of the musicians put their work on the tracks. Gold Rush went back into the studio the next morning and sang all day long and finally after many hours, laid down the vocals on the 10 songs. The group cannot speak highly enough for all the personnel in the Echo Sound Studio. They were incredible people to work with. Besides being so talented, they also love the Lord and depend on and ask Him for guidance, direction, and help. WOW! What a combination! |
